This is how to remove those annoying ^M characters that show up in files previously edited on a Windows platform.
In VI,
:%s/[ctrlkey+v and ctrl-key+M]//g
actual command,
:%s/^V^M//g
Like many other people this days I’m focusing in paying old debts and reducing budget as a main task in the next 6 months or so. I hope that 2009 starts with more motivation and less suction in my bank account.
