Tiken Jah is a reggae singer from the Côte d’Ivoire. This country in West Africa was a French colony from 1893 till their independence in 1960.
In the latest years, where xenofobic politics and discrimination reign on Côte d’Ivoire, Tiken Jah has been living on the exile, in Bamako (capital of Mali) where many people comes to his concerts. In December of 2007, Fakoly was declared persona non grata in Senegal after criticizing president Abdoulaye Wade. To read more about him and hear his music visit his official site.

Fakoly, in my opinion an authentic revolutionary in his own rule, afirms:
I make music to “Wake up the conciences”
For sure he has woke up mine. And his lyrics reflect the injustice of his people, the africans, and the opressing political power in that continent where a few hold the power and the rest lives to the limit. For this reason he has been threatened to death many times and had to move to another country.

From last winter I’ve got access to the public Library of palma, the one that is in front of Es Baluard museum. The good news is that now we can query their online catalog. I translate what I’ve got in the newsletter for the non-spanish readers:
Click on the Lector icon
-Put your user 6 digits code (Found in your access card)
-Use your birthday DAY,MONTH,YEAR (DDMMYY) 6 digits as your password.
For example if your b-day it’s 12-12-1980 use 121280 as the password.
This weekend I’ve been with my friend Alvaro to Deia and I’ve been reading Ray Loriga in front of the sea. I’m actually reading “Días aún más extraños”:

After reading about La Fonera 2.0 now that is liberated for developers to write their own apps. I had the idea to install 2 antennas in the area I live:

As Martin commented, the things that I would like to have working are:
In short the Fonera 2.0 will manage your daily relationship with the Web 2.0 doing such thing as sending your pictures to Flickr, your videos to Youtube, downloading your torrents, etc.
The antennas I’m planning to use are either:
#1 will make it to the Guiness records.
