This video is very interesting and shows how the news are made and selected to be on the newspaper cover, between other things it shows how an international newspaper as the Herald Tribune works.

To be a reporter is the best job in the world. Your job is to go out to interesting places, to met interesting people and to write about it. And you get paid for it, your expenses too!

After hearing this I think I choose the wrong job!
